The Mission of the South Canterbury Mammography Services Trust

Did you know that breast cancer is the #1 cancer diagnosed in New Zealand women? In fact, 3,300 Kiwi women - plus around 25 men - will be diagnosed with it every year, with 600 dying as a result of it.
The mission of the South Canterbury Mammography Services Trust is to fund the unmet health needs of South Canterbury women and right now we are staying focussed on providing breast screening support and welfare grants to breast cancer patients. We want to raise the level of education and awareness about breast cancer, and inform people about their options.
